Hop on an entirely Private and Eco-friendly Tuk Tuk and let our local Storyteller tell you everything there is to know about the portuguese Age of Discoveries, also known as our Golden Age. Marvel at how the old and the new come together perfectly in Belém and its surrounding areas. The tour will start from the very heart of Lisbon's downtown and head West all the way to Belém, where you can visit Belems Tower, Discoveries Monument os Jerónimos Monastery. To end in a delicious way, we will direct you to the most famous custard tart fabric located in Belém (not included). Don't miss this opportunity to try the most delicious Pasteis de Belém. After that, we will come back to the starting point! Join us!!

    Belém Neighbourwood: This is the monumental historic district of the Age of Discovery, here you’ll find the magnificent World Heritage monuments, wonderful parks, gardens and the Tagus River as landscape. For centuries Portugal was one of the largest nations in the world and this area will always be remembered and exalted as the sea port of the Age of Discovery. This tour will highlight some of the most emblematic monuments and places, such as the Oriente Foundation, the Jerónimos Monastery, the Champalimaud Foundation, the Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, the Electricity Museum and the MAAT.

  • Children 6 years old and under are not legally allowed to ride on a EcoTuk Tuk. Children from 7 to 12 years old or minimum of 1.35m (4.42 feet) can ride on a Booster seat (please let us know beforehand if you need one). Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
  • It´s forbidden for pregnant women and intoxicated people, not recommended to mentally or physically incapacitated people or to people with prosthesis.
  • A different Pick up and/or drop off is available on request upon an extra charge payment. Please let us know if you want a different location from the one included.
  • Availability for shows cannot be checked without making a booking. Credit cards will only be charged upon confirmation of show availability.
  • Price is per person. Adult pricing applies to all travelers.
  • No large items allowed in the Tuk Tuk (like suitcases or strolers).

Better than Tram 28

Highly recommend Luis as a knowledgeable guide who cares deeply about both Lisbon and customer service. Tuk Tuk could navigate places tram tracks don’t go and cars can’t fit. Comfortable ride despite bumpy cobblestone roads. Want to return with the rest of the family and this will be the first tour we book.

We had a lovely 2 hours exploring the city of Lisbon with our amazing guide Arthur. He had a great personality and was very knowledgeable about the city’s history. We also had a chance to try out the famous Pastéis de Belém which were truly spectacular. A memorable experience indeed!
