Good vibes, great tastes

We bought this experience for our husbands as a Christmas present. There were six couples in our group and we absolutely loved the experience. We tasted some unique flavours and we were brought to some interesting nooks and crannies within Kensington market that we otherwise would not have had the opportunity to explore. Jessica was our guide. she was friendly, informative, and really blended well with the vibe of our group. Everyone in the group had a great time. After our tour we gathered for a beer and some great jazz music in the neighbourhood to top it off.

Great way to explore this unique & colorful Toronto area!

We arrived in Toronto a day early before we joined a tour of Canadian capitals in Ontario & Quebec. We wanted an activity that would be different & introduce us to Toronto. Since we love food markets & city walks, we picked this early morning tour… despite the fact we are not “foodies!” We loved it! The Kensington Square area was fascinating… the eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, street vendors, & renovated townhomes. Felicia, our tour guide was a terrific source of information on our first day in Canada, & we loved walking around & sampling goodies from the participating restaurants. We highly recommend this tour (& Felicia) if you want a “taste” of this fascinating area of Toronto!

We’ve done several food tours in different cities but this was our favourite! William, our tour guide, was brilliant. Knowledgable, and extremely entertaining, he totally made this tour worth while. The food and drink was eclectic and plentiful - you certainly won’t want to eat again until the evening. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour!

William added so much to the tour and made Kensington Market so approachable. Having a selection made for us in advance saved a lot of trial and error. And the history and background of a food tour is always a bonus beyond the food tastings.

Fantastic Food, Facts & Flair!

Our group of 8 enjoyed the terrific variety of international food samplings, and everyone had their different favorite! Felicia, our tour guide, was super nice and her knowledge of the market area, food history, and general history of Toronto was impressive. Her demeanor wasn’t as fun or entertaining as some of the other guide reviews, and her voice wasn’t loud/didn’t carry but overall we learned alot during the tour. I would recommend more pauses between food stops to allow guests to take photos since the neighborhood has amazing street art to admire. We were trying to catch up with our guide a lot but Felicia was always pleasant and patient. The button flair given out at the beginning of the tour was a nice touch! And rain ponchos were offered because the weather was rainy that morning. I highly recommend this food tour!
