    Kenroku-en (兼六園, Six Attributes Garden), located in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan, is an old private garden. Along with Kairaku-en and Kōraku-en, Kenroku-en is one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan.

  • Although this is a private tour, the tour guide will only wait for you for up to 30 minutes of start time before the tour is cancelled
  • Attire: Please dress appropriately for all weather conditions
  • Passports may be required to verify age on the day of the tour

This experience is non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Amazing morning in Kanazawa!

Our expert guide Hideo was a great source of knowledge about Kanazawa from explaining the buses/trams we needed to catch to talking about the feudal system, architecture and the buildings of historic interest in an engaging and descriptive way. We would have loved a full day tour, but my partner was still recovering from foot surgery. A huge thanks to Hideo and Japanawaits for providing a day that we will never forget!

Kanazawa half day tour with Harumi

Our tour guide was Harumi. We had a great experience in spite of the rainy conditions. Harumi was very professional and knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to accommodate us, was fluent in English as well as Spanish. We loved the sites and the interaction with her. We would highly recommend the tour and Harumi as a guide.
