Michi-no-Eki - Shirakawago

You can tour the Gassho Museum attached to the roadside station Shirakawago. Take a look at the Gassho-zukuri structure before heading to Shirakawa-go. They also sell many souvenirs. Please note that we will be closed from December 29th to January 1st, so you will have to stop at a different location. *From April 2024, the drop-in time will be 15 minutes.

We had an excellent day. Our guides were friendly and professional. It was interesting to visit the two villages, and to explore independently. Lunch was delicious. And to make my day perfect, there was snow!

Our guide was so pleasant and knowledgeable. It also helped to have the interpreter on board. There was so much to see at the two world heritage villages, but the time allowed was sufficient. Lunch was absolutely delicious! Loved the washi paper making experience! Don't miss the chance to do it!
