Fantastic tour. With the benefit of bikes we were able to cover so much more than would have been possible with a walking tour. This meant we saw not only the Peace Park but also surrounding memorials which really gave an understanding of the scale of the bomb. Moe, our guide, is a local, and her passion for her home city and her moving stories of how her grandparents experienced and were affected by the A-bomb make this tour especially poignant. We came away with immense admiration for the people of Hiroshima and how they had fought to use their history to promote peace. Bike tours have become our favourite way to see new cities and we have done several over the last year or so. They have all been very good, but this one counts as the best, mainly due to the empathetic way that Moe dealt with the horrific and sensitive subject matter and showed this beautiful city in such a positive way.

We travelled around Japan for 2 weeks and this was one of the highlights. Don't be too worried if you're not super fit - the electric bikes make cycling for 3hrs pretty easy. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and genuine. Absolutely recommend!

We were three friends who booked this trip, and we were joined by two more people for the tour. It was a rainy day in Hiroshima, so we started the tour on foot. Kana, our guide, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. She packed each stop with rich history about Japan and Hiroshima. This context proved especially valuable when we visited the Atomic Bomb Museum afterward — we were able to appreciate the exhibits on a much deeper level. After about an hour, the weather cleared up, and we got on our bikes to explore the city more closely. Kana went above and beyond — as a special gesture, she took us to the observation deck at Orizuru Tower (a visit covered by her company, which was such a generous surprise!). This was a truly meaningful tour. At times, it was humbling and overwhelming to witness the weight of history firsthand, but we all thoroughly enjoyed the ride and left with memories for a lifetime. I’d definitely recommend this tour. No doubt about it — it’s a great way to see the city, even if you're short on time.

Very moving bicycle tour of the historic sites of Hiroshima. Our guide Shin is a family descendent of a bombing survivor and his perspective made the tour very memorable. He is a great communicator and will take you to some interesting sites you would likely miss on your own.
