    Overview

    Enjoy bird’s-eye views of the Canadian Rockies as you soar high above in a helicopter. Fly over the plains of Bow Valley and snap up-close shots of Mt Lougheed’s three summit peaks drizzled in snow. An experienced pilot shares the history of the region as you absorb the incredible scenery. This 20-minute flight is a dazzling way to take in sights during your stay in Banff.

    What To Expect


    1. Canadian Rockies Leaving the valley and flying up entry creek you will soar over Cline Pass at 10,000 ft (3048m) to view the expansive panoramic view of the Rocky Mountains. Reducing our altitude we will fly you into the Coup de grace of the tour – The 6 Glaciers. Cline Glacier White Goat Glacier Lion Glacier Lioness Glacier Resolute Glacier Hanging Glacier From the glaciers, you are off to Michelle Lakes. The Twin lakes is divided by a 50 ft (15m) waterfall which homes the beautiful Golden Trout. Michelle lakes is at an elevation of 7,545 ft (2299m). The lake then leads to a 900 ft (275m) waterfall that plunges into Waterfalls Creek. Following Waterfalls Creek back to the Cline River Valley we will fly by the White Goat Provincial Park. Looking to the east tucked up one of the valleys is a mountain that is an oxidized orange mountain due to the ferric iron content. Starting our long descent to the heliport you will view the beautiful vista of the glacial blue water of Abraham Lake.

    Unbelievable beauty from a bird’s eye view!

    Our pilot and guide were amazing- keeping our safety at the forefront of our adventure. Jake, our pilot, kept the ride steady and made us feel comfortable in the sky! Our guide, Aaron, filled us in on the history and geological relevance of the area. He certainly knew his history! There were pockets of the geography that they weren’t comfortable flying into due to the cloud cover and they were totally honest saying so- making us feel safe and confident in their decisions. This ride was like being in an Omnimax theatre- unbelievable beauty. We even spotted a bear from the sky! Definitely a chance of a lifetime!

    Absolutely the most amazing thing we've ever got to experience !! We are already planning on going back and possibly doing a summer tour in the summer... Ralph was great and fun and friendly and most of all made us feel safe and told us alot of interesting info about the mountains and things around there . Highly recommend people to check this out and even if your nervous as a first time flyer (like i was) don't be scared !! I wasn't even scared one bit I had a smile glued on my face and it was quite the thrill .
