Overview

Join us to visit the beautiful mountain resort town of Hakone. Nestled in the mountains, Hakone is a place of natural and artistic wonders. Visit Owakudani to see the ever-rising sulfurous gasses from the active volcano that provides heat to the many hot springs nearby. Try the area’s famous black boiled eggs; turned black and infused with the minerals from the spring. Ride the rope way down the mountain to Lake Ashinoko for a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. Sail across the lake to visit the Torii gate by Kuzuryu shrine to the area’s 9 headed dragon deity. If you are an art fan, try visiting one of the many art museums in Hakone.

A special thanks to Mohsin for a very nice and memorable day. The day before our tour started, I was able to contact Mohsin and inform him of an issue with our scheduled tour. Mohsin gladly accommodated us, and the tour we were provided to Hokane was great. Again, thank you Mohsin! Communication with Mohsin (using WhatsApp) before the tour was good, and I truly appreciate his prompt arrival at our hotel this morning. Mohsin was a kind, humble, attentive, and very personable guide. He has a solid knowledge of the area and places we visited. Even though the weather was not the best (very cloudy with some very light rain) we made the best it, and Mohsin gave us ample time to explore each of the venues we visited. We have been to Tokyo before and done a number of tours, and a trip to Hokane needs to be on your list of places to see.

We had the pleasure of exploring Hakone with Mohsin as our guide, and I can't recommend him highly enough. His knowledge of the area was impressive - he shared fascinating information about the history, culture, and hidden gems of Hakone that we would have completely missed on our own. Mohsin was extremely punctual, which we appreciated as it allowed us to make the most of our limited time. He offered several practical tips throughout the day that enhanced our experience, including recommendations for local specialties to try and the best times to visit popular spots to avoid crowds. One thing that really stood out was how willingly he helped take family photos for us. Thanks to Mohsin, we have beautiful pictures of our entire family together in scenic locations instead of the usual selfies with someone missing. If you're planning a visit to Hakone, booking Mohsin as your guide will definitely make your experience more meaningful and enjoyable!

Excellent trip to Hakone and Mt. Fuji

Mohammed was an excellent driver and tourguide. He was prompt and a very safe driver. We went from Shinagawa to Gora to stay at our riokan. He was knowledgeable, patient, and sculpted the trip to our needs. His English was excellent. Thetrip, once leaving Tokyo, was relaxing and the day was clear soo we saw Mt. Fuji perfectly. I would strongly recommend this tour and this host.
