Just an hour from downtown Quebec City, explore Jacques-Cartier National Park's summer landscape on a hike for a memorable experience in this wilderness. By the edge of a river or in the heart of a forest, the trail will take you gradually to a viewpoint to observe the valley of the national park. Breaks will be take to taste local food and drink. Maybe you will even dare to taste the products of nature !! Accessible to all, your guide will show you the forest and its magnificent landscapes and a dinner break will be made halfway. Round-trip transportation and lunch are included on this small-group tour. Schedule : 9 am : departure from Quebec City 10 am : arrival at the national park 10:30 am : start of the guided activity 2 pm : end of the guided activity 4:30 pm : departure from the park 5:30 pm : arrival to Quebec City

What To Expect

1. Centre Infotouriste de Quebec You will meet your guide in the bus. It will take you to Jacques-Cartier National Park, about 45 minutes from Quebec City.

2. Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier A gourmet hike to explore the most beautiful trails in the national park and to taste several local products. The tour is accessible to beginners will allow you to admire the most spectacular landscapes of the park. You will have plenty of opportunities to stop for photos and rest breaks. Your guide highlights the area’s natural history and wildlife and you will stop for a lunch. Once you finish your hike, you’re returned by minivan to Quebec City. Schedule : 9 am : departure from Quebec City 10 am : arrival at the national park 10:30 am : start of the guided activity 2 pm : end of the guided activity 4 pm : departure from the park 5 pm : return to Quebec City 4 hours

Lorenzo was a great guide. Fun for out of the city experience. If the weather is warm you should rent a kayak. Bring bug spray.

Gabrielle was a great guide. Hike was moderate & slow enough for all to enjoy. Would have liked to know ahead of time that the day included several hours of free time. But regardless, was a beautiful spot, good hike & lunch.

The Jacques-Cartier National Park is a true natural wonder! I urge everyone to go visit it! Special Kudos and hat tip to Antoine, our guide, who was exceptionally wonderful to us. Besides sharing a plethora of information and good cheer along the way he surprised us at every turn with wonderful little tasting samples of local Québécois produce which we absolutely adored. Furthermore, he gave us great insights about what hiking trails to do! We absolutely had a blast and saw surreal colors given we were here during foliage season. Definitely a must do
