Overview

You will ride an electric bicycle instead of gas vehicles, so it is not only for S.D.G.s, but also for your health . Enjoy the scenery and well-established spots among those who are in the know of Kanazawa while the bicycle riding with the deep information by the local guide-interpreter! You will watch and appreciate a lot of hidden functional mechanisms in the Ninja temple with the Japanese guide explanation. Don’t worry, there are also the guidance booklets in multiple languages that are prepared by the temple. You are still able to ride an electric bicycle for the Kanazawa sightseeing if you put it back to the right cycle port spot in that day. Therefore, after the end of the tour, you can still visit again and get entry for any spot you enjoyed exterior and had in mind while the cycling riding, but you need to pay entry fee for that spot then. The electric bicycles you ride is had jurisdiction by Kanazawa city office, so you can gain a sense of security by that proper bicycles.

  • Myoryuji - Ninja Temple

    Myoryuji Temple was built as a prayer place of the Kaga Domain soon after Lord Maeda Toshiie, founder of the Kaga Domain, moved to Kanazawa Castle. Later, in preparation for an emergency attack of the central government (Tokugawa Shogunate), the Maeda family considered the temples in Tera-machi as a shield. Then the family added a number of functions to Myoryuji Temple so that it would work as a lookout post and fort. To countermeasure the invasion of enemies, Myoryuji Temple is provided with a variety of mechanisms. That is why this temple is also called Ninja Temple.

Fantastic! A must whilst in Kanazawa.

An extremely personable guide with a wealth of local and country wide knowledge. A brilliant eco tour that lead us to all of the famous sights without clock watching ensuring we had a full afternoon experience. It was fantastic that we could continue to use the e bikes until midnight allowing us to get to our hotel, dinner reservation and back hassle free. Thank you Ti for a great afternoon.

Our guide Ti was amazing! Full of fun facts and very accommodating to what we wanted to see! Loved the modern architecture he showed us! Riding ebikes was easy and made the high temperatures berable! It was a wonderful day!

The best tour I took in Japan

This was the best tour I took in my trip to Japan! Ti was an amazing tour guide & the tour took me to many sites around Kanazawa. Ti explained a lot about the history of the sites we stopped/e-biked through. I was lucky bc that day the weather was perfect- I travelled from Osaka via bullet train to Kanazawa in the morning & was able to have this amazing tour the day I arrived in Kanazawa! Ti grew up in Kanazawa & is a local presently - he was very personable & his English was awesome! I appreciated this tour for all that we saw & the ninja temple was pretty neat! Ti took time to make sure I was comfortable with the use of the e-bike (it was my first time using one) and also I would recommend this tour to anyone going to visit Kanazawa. If you are going to Japan- Kanazawa is a must! I loved it there! Thank you Ti for this amazing tour!

This was hands down the best tour I took in Japan! Ti my tour guide for the e-bike tour was amazing! He was a local & his English was awesome! He explained very well the history & the locations in which we toured via e-bike. I appreciated how he was extremely personable & always checking if I wanted to stop for something to eat ect. I was extremely lucky that day as the weather was perfect & being the first time on an e-bike Ti was very helpful & thorough in how to operate the bike. I wish I had more time in Kanazawa bc it was amazing! It was one of my favourite places in my trip to Japan! I recommend this tour to anyone! I took a morning train from Osaka & was able to enjoy this tour after dropping off my luggage at my accommodations.
