Overview

This tour is unique in that you hike (moderate level) in old growth forest along Snoqualmie River for a few hours to view a gorgeous cascade of falls, Twin Falls and Upper Falls followed by viewing another beautiful fall that we drive to - the famous 270-foot tall Snoqualmie Falls. You also see a beautiful lake with views of the surrounding mountains often reflected in the lake. There is lots of diversity on this half day tour from Seattle.

Meeting points

We will meet outside Sephora next to the big arch on 415 Pine St. I will be wearing a pink flower fleece pullover, so it should be easy to spot me.

Great Hike

The hike was somewhat more difficult than I expected. There were some steep steps and slippery sections on the trail. However, the views were great. Unfortunately, there was too much fog at the Snoqualmie Falls, and we could not see the falls at all.

I’ve done many hiking tours before but this by far is one of the best ones I’ve gone on. Our tour guide, Susan, was the sweetest person ever and very knowledgeable. You are definitely getting your moneys worth. The hike itself has just the right amount of challenge surrounded my beautiful sights.

Our original hike had to be cancelled, however Susan offered us an alternative hike, which is the one I am reviwing. Susan, our tour guide was fantastic! She was professional, informative, fun, had in-depth knowledge of the areas, and on time. She was a careful driver, especially in the snowy areas. Susan was able to stop in lots of places, do short walks so as we could get great photos, knowing the best spots, history and interesing facts about each stop. The main hike up the lower slopes of Mt Rainier and a picnic in the snow was simply amazing! Thank you for making this such a memorable day for all the right reasons! We don't believe anybody could be disapointed with Susan or "her" mountain.

A nice hike not far from Seattle.

We were passing through Seattle on a short trip, and wanted to see some sights outside of town. Beautiful scenery. Susan was a great guide and pointed out lots of interesting things to see and learn about. A fun hike that does include some areas of incline and stairs, but not too challenging. Take a backpack to shed or add clothing layers if needed. Bottled water was provided. Bathrooms at the trailhead. Would recommend this to anyone who doesn’t want to commit to an all day event.
