The Boeing assembly plant is home to legendary planes like the 747, 777 and the world’s most advanced jetliner the 787 Dreamliner. You’ll have an opportunity to learn about Boeing’s long and storied history, go inside the world’s largest building to view airplanes in various stages of assembly, enjoy exhibits in the Future of Flight Gallery, and hang out on the “Strato Deck” for some plane spotting.

Your Boeing Tour begins with a comfortable coach ride...as you travel through Seattle and then up to the Future of Flight Aviation Center in Everett, Washington, your knowledgeable Show Me Seattle guide will share highlights, stories and early history about Seattle, William Boeing and the Boeing Company - and on the return trip, you'll get a wealth of recommendations for restaurants and more activities to explore when you arrive back to the city.
Boeing Future of Flight

The 80 minute guided tour of the factory led by the expert Boeing staff is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to view jets being assembled on the production line before they take to the sky. The manufacturing complex is recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest building in the world by volume. The building has grown over the years to enclose 472 million cubic feet of space (13.3 million cubic meters). Its footprint covers 98.3 acres (39.8 hectares).

Please Note: Children must be at least 48inches (122 cm) to participate on tour. Visitors may not carry babies on the tour. There is no child care facility at the Future of Flight Aviation Center, and there are no exceptions to these safety regulations.
No personal items are allowed on the 90 minute assembly plant tour, including: purses, backpacks, cameras, binoculars, cell phones, etc. Lockers are available on-site at the Future of Flight.
Boeing does not permit photos, videos, or recordings of any kind during the assembly plant tour.
This tour package includes guided transport to and from the Future of Flight Aviation Center - please do not find your own way to the Center as it is not possible to join the Show Me Seattle tour at that point.
Please note that pickup times are prior to the 9:00am start time for the guided coach tour to the plant.

Great and informative tour

The Boeing tour was a great insight into how a jet airliner is built. It was impressive to see the size and scale of the facility. James, our tour guide was not only informative, but funny and pointed out all the landmarks and interesting facts about the ride to and from the tour. One caution, no electronics are allowed during the formal plant tour, so pack light. James stored our items in a locker for safe keeping. All in all fantastic tour and a great experience James went the extra mile.

Great tour with James

James the bus driver was very knowledgeable about the history of Boeing and it's place in Seattle, he took us around the airport grounds to see more jets parked up and explained what they were, all in all he was very good, would recommend this tour for those reasons alone, the factory tour itself was interesting, but you're limited to a viewing platform above the factory floor, but Tom our guide was very knowledgeable and explained how the 777 is built. The future flight museum part was a bit of a let down, and we only had about 40 mins to walk around there, I was done in about 20!

It’s a cool experience if you like planes and flying… it’s amazing to see the world’s largest building by volume and how it looks like from the inside. The factory tour itself is short and we feel like it could have been better but it’s all good! Greg is the Boeing tour guide and he is awesome… Show me Seattle staff James was very prompt and told us a lot of Boeing story!

Such an amazing experience, we got to go inside the factory and seeing all the planes being made was incredible. Out your guide knew everything there was about planes and have such an amazing tour from the moment we stepped onto the bus to when we got off. He even offered to drop us off and the market or space centre if we wanted to go there!
