3. Nazare
From the site of Nazaré we will see a wonderful beach situated in an extensive bay and the blue of the Atlantic Ocean. Depending on the time of year and the state of the sea, we may eventually see the largest "surfable" waves in the world. 4. Obidos
This charming village, with its whitewashed houses and its fourteenth-century walls, was for years the gift of kings to their wives as a wedding dowry. It was an important seaport. Today, somewhat distant from the sea, the village of Óbidos retains its characteristic archetypal beauty of the medieval age. This is the place of choice to taste the famous Ginja Liqueur.
