  • Pico Do Areeiro

    The tour starts at this magnificent Pico do Areeiro mountain at 1818 meters altitude.

    30 minutes

  • Balcoes de Ribeiro Frio

    Here you will enjoy a small Levada Walk until a beautiful viewpoint. If you are not a walking person, you can enjoy this stop to visit the Trout nursery.

    40 minutes

  • Miradouro do guindaste

    At this viewpoint you can admire the wonderful northeast coast view.

    30 minutes

  • Santana

    This stop is the bigger one. You can take advantage of this 1h30m to 2h00 stop to lunch and visit the Santana village.

    1 hour 30 minutes

  • Porto da Cruz

    At this small village the stop is around. Here you can visit the North Mills Distillary and taste the local rum.

  • Ponta de Sao Lourenco

    The ponta do Rosto is a must see viewpoint. It's situated at the eastiest part of the Island and gives you astonishing views over the North and South Madeira Sea and sometimes also of Porto Santo Island.

Luca was an amazing guide I would recommend using this company, wish we had used them for all our trips.

We had an amazing tour on the 10th of December with Luca our guide he was an amazing guide. Who showed us some amazing sites and places extra from the actual tour he was also very knowledgeable and funny you should be very proud of a young gentleman like himself working for you, even though the weather wasn't the best he said during our tour he would do it backwards so we stood a better chance of seeing the sites which we did. Just wow.

The excursion was great. We saw alot of great spots and Luca our guide was excellent! He took added some surprises and was super knowledgable and helpful. His restaurant choice was great and he made sure everyone was happy

Great Tour of the East!

This was an amazing tour made even more special by our excellent tour guide, Diogo. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. We were taken to a number of scenic locations where we were given time to explore. We even had the opportunity to have an authentic Madeiran meal. Overall, great enjoyable tour!

Took the east side tour and were really happy that we did so. The tour was on a minibus of 8 people and the driver/guide was excellent. We were not so lucky with the weather as rain poured down on the east side that day, but the guide was coming up with places with less rain and things to see and do, so we were really happy. If you are considering the east side tour, this is a good option.

Today we did a fantastic tour with Bearded Madeira Tours. Pico Areeiro: Breathtaking amazing view. Ribeiro Frio: Very nice and lovely Levada walk. Faial: Amazing view on the Atlantic Ocean. Santana: Very good typical Madeira dish, fish with banana. Porta da Cruz: Rum tasting and view go wrll together. Ponta São Lourenço: Stunning view on the North and South part of the island.
