After our very enjoyable experience with Super Tours to Bosnia and Herzegovina it was a no-brainer to go on their tour to Montenegro. On the tour we visited Perast and Kotor, two lovely places in an incredibly beautiful location. The drive was truly breathtaking, with the scenery some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Our tour guide DraĹľen was professional, friendly, funny, and incredibly informative, detailing the history of the region and the best places to visit in each stop. The tour starts early, with us meeting at the stop at 06:30, done in order to skip the queues at the border.
Perast was a very pretty village by the coast, with us stopping for 90 minutes. The key destination to visit there was the Church of Our Lady of the Rocks on the island, in which we could ride the boat to for €10. The island gave great views of the area but we did not visit the church as it charged €3 for entry which was cash only which we did not have.
Kotor is a beautiful old town, which like Dubrovnik has a strong Venetian connection. The restaurant DraĹľen recommended to us was very good and affordable. I would recommend the veal which was delicious! The old town itself had lots of things to see like churches, museums, and its walls which are free to walk along.
We had such a lovely day on this tour and I would recommend this tour for anyone staying in Dubrovnik. I'd also strongly recommend their tour to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
