Itinerary

  • Cascadas de Agua Azul

    Early morning departure to Palenque stopping at Agua Azul, a group of waterfalls created by the currents of the: Otulún, Shumuljá and Tulijá rivers which have formed shallow canyons banked by vertical cliffs where you will be able to swim (if time allows it) and enjoy the different areas of such magnificent environment.

  • Cascadas de Misol-Ha

    You will then continue on to the Misol-Ha waterfalls which rise 30 meters in height and are surrounded by natural rain forest, which make this an extraordinarily beautiful and refreshing place.

  • Zona Arqueologica de Palenque

    The last stop will be a visit to the archaeological site of Palenque: A Mayan city known for its architectural and sculptural heritage with a number of admirable buildings including: the Palace, the Temple of the Foliated Cross, and the Temple of the Sun amongst others. Back to San Cristobal at the end of the day (hotel drop off not included)

Great trip. All in Spanish but someone kindly interpreted. Prompt pick up. Breakfast stop efficient. Bumpy roads but so worth it. I was dropped off at Palenque and jumped straight into a swimming pool to cool off. Would recommend. Prompt pickup so be up and ready to go. I took swimming stuff but didn't go in.

Use Viator They were outstanding in all ways. They were on time. They were very concerned with how we were enjoying or not enjoying what where we were or knowledge of San Francisco was over the top vehicles were top notch can’t say enough about how well they took care of us on the days that they picked us up

A really long trip (from 3.30 am to 22.30) but absolutely worth, aqua Azul and Palenque are breathtaking!

Beautiful places but roads are too dangerous!! Almost got hit by an 18 wheeler, we would have gone down the cliff.

Despite the very early pick-up (3:30am), a very nice trip with an excellent guide! What we did and what we recommend to do: enjoy the visits to Agua azĂşl, Misol-Ha and the archeological site of Palenque and then stay in Palenque. By doing so, you avoid the long trip back to San Cristobal de la Casa and you can visit some sites close to Palenque on the next day.
