Please note that the viewpoints are closed on Tuesdays, so visits cannot be made on that day of the week.

    La visita incluye un recorrido por dos miradores situados en la parte alta del cañón. Se dispondrá de 15 minutos para disfrutar de cada mirador. Por favor, tenga en cuenta que los miradores están cerrados los días martes. Por lo tanto, no se pueden realizar visitas en ese día de la semana.

The canyon was spectacular and the guide spoke with authority in Spanish with occasional usage of his limited English.

Great experience. What a stunning place to visit. The driver took care of everyone, I appreciated the time at each of the views and our boat journey down the river along the canyon was fantastic. And a lovely mix of people in our group.

The driver was careful and always on time. The trip was well organized, and the driver seemed highly experienced. The nature and the views are totally breathtaking, making the journey truly unforgettable. TAKE YOUR TRAVEL MEDS if you’re like me and get sick in the car. This tour was a great value for the money. I personally didn’t care about the last stop in Chiapa de Corzo and would rather arrive to San Cris sooner but I enjoyed everything else. The canyon is a must see if you’re in San Cris or around, we also saw some crocodiles and monkeys and a lot of birds. Unfortunately it’s impossible to book an English guide if you’re a solo traveller like me but there was a couple who booked an English guide so I could ask him some things and I also speak a bit of Spanish (the guide on the boat is another guide who only speaks Spanish so if you can’t book an English guide who will translate you won’t understand. But it’s still a great experience.)
