7. Shiraito Falls
Several souvenir shops line the trail that leads down to the falls. Along the way, there are nice views of Otodome Falls, another thundering, 25 meter high column of water. The area is at its best in summer when the waterfalls are flush with the winter snow melt from Mount Fuji and the green foliage is at its fullest, and during the autumn season (usually from mid to late November) when the leaves change.
