Overview

Visit one of the most beautiful islands on the North Coast. Paradise Island will welcome you with turquoise water, white sand and colorful reef. Visit the Monte Cristi National Park where you can explore the mangrove jungle and see local wild life. After being collected from your hotel in Puerto Plata, Sosua or Cabarete, make your way to Punta Rucia and enjoy the amazing views of the lovely Dominican landscapes. Here, climb aboard a speedboat that will take you to Cayo Arena ( the local name of Paradise Island ) Upon arrival on the island, you will be welcomed by turquoise waters and white sand. Go ashore to sunbathe and explore or take a guided snorkeling tour during which you will see a variety of tropical fish and coral. Enjoy a selection of fresh fruits and drinks which will be served on the island. Before lunch, take a speedboat ride through the mangroves. On the way back we make a stop at a local market.

We pick up at the hotels in Cabarete, Sosua and Puerto Plata. We drive through the country side to Punta Rucia. At Playa Ensenada the Speed boat is waiting to take you to Paradise Island

Cayo Arena - Carlos Guide

From the start we knew it was going be great! Our driver Carlos who is also our Puerto Plata guide during our stay made sure our experience was memorable in this beautiful location of Cayo Arena. He dropped us off, the guides on site who will be joining you give you best then you get on a small boat to Cayo Arena. A 20min water trip. Our guide stopped and showed us a natural pool in the ocean who was very cool. Once arriving at Cayo Arena you are embraced by clear turquoise water on clean sands. A breathtaking experience and view. When you return, a feat of rice beans, a selection of chicken or fish with salad. Don’t forget the Presidente. Amazing experience ! Beautiful island. Great tour guides. Clean charter bus with A.C. . Tour guide was providing historical facts about the island . Also spoke many different languages so everyone on the trip could understood him which I thought was nice. Wish the stay on the island was a little longer than 2 hours. Suggest to bring your own water/drinks and snacks for the island itself as you cannot purchase anything there.

The transportation was fine. The island and water was beautiful. Lots of cool sealife. Speed boat ride through mangroves was really fun. Kids enjoyed it. Food was good after at nice location. Had a good time Lotta was very quick and professional with communication no matter the time.
