Overview

Guided route in an off-road vehicle with driver/guide through places of greatest natural, human and cultural heritage of the Serra do Açor: Morning with visit/passage through the Santuário Sra. Montalto, Serra da Aveleira, Selada das Eiras, Posto de Vigia, Mata da Margaraça, Fraga da Pena and Aldeia do Xisto de Benfeita. No lunch included. Afternoon: S. Pedro do Açor, Estrada Real, Chãs de Égua, Piódão and Monte do Colcurinho. The route can be adapted according to the intended departure and arrival location. According to this adaptation, the area of Pico da Cebola, village of Malhada da Serra, several ridges of the Açor overlooking the Sta Dam. Luzia and the Schist Village of Fajão.

Pickup Details

We can meet in the village of Arganil, or we can meet you, anywhere, within a 30km radius of Arganil. We will pick you up at the beginning of the day, and the tour ends at the same place.

1. Piodao We visited the historic village of Piódão. We carry out a guided tour with historical, cultural and architectural context. Get to know Piódão like no one else does! 1 hour

2. Foz d'Egua We visited Foz d'Égua. We carry out a guided tour with historical, cultural and architectural context. If you want, you can also take a dip in the crystal clear water! 1 hour

3. Mata da Margaraca Walking trail through the forest, with explanation and waterfalls. 1 hour

4. Benfeita We visited the Schisto village of Benfeita. We carry out a guided tour with historical, cultural and architectural context. Get to know Benfeita like no one else does! 1 hour

5. Cascata do Poco da Broca We visited the Poço da Broca Waterfall. We carry out a guided tour with historical, cultural and architectural context. If you want, you can also take a dip in the crystal clear water! 1 hour

6. Serra do Acor Full-day program: Guided tour in a vehicle with driver/guide through places of greatest natural, human and cultural interest in Serra do Açor. Includes morning visit to the Schist Village of Benfeita with the unique Torre da Paz, Fraga da Pena (largest waterfall in the central region), artisanal spoonery in Pardieiros (subject to confirmation) and Mata da Margaraça (Protected Landscape of Serra do Açor ). Lunch option in the village of Pardieiros (not included in the price). In the afternoon we visited Colcurinho (excellent viewpoint), Aldeia Histórica de Piódão and the village of Foz de Égua. 1 hour
