4.9 stars! We had a wonderful and informative visit to Bruges. The guides spoke english well and were very friendly and attentive. The lead guide was very knowledgeable about the sites we saw, and it's history. He was a joy to have a conversation with. The sites seen were fantastic. One suggestion is to include the canal boat tour, as the selection when booking was not clear - proven by confusing several tour participants. Overall -- it was among the best during our European vacation.

Everything was good, even though the center can get a bit busy, it never felt overwhelming. Definitely a lovely day out, and with it if you enjoy a slower, more scenic vibe.

Starting with a friendly pick-up and comfortable bus ride into the charming medieval city where we quickly saw iconic sights like the towering Belfry, the beautiful Burg Square with its stunning City Hall, and the serene Basilica of the Holy Blood. The picturesque Rozenhoedkaai offered postcard-perfect canal views, followed by the romantic Bonifacius Bridge and the peaceful Beguinage. We enjoyed the tranquil Lake of Love and a brief visit to the historic Sint-Janshospitaal before having ample free time at the vibrant Market Square for shopping and lunch, all culminating in a smooth and relaxing return to our cruise ship, making for a truly memorable and well-organized shore excursion that captured the essence of Bruges beautifully.

Our guide Sebastian kept it light with jokes about ‘European portion sizes’ while showing hidden nun courtyards and the Basilica’s holy relic. The canals? Pretty, but no Lake Powell. Crowds at the Belfry felt like Lagoon’s Pioneer Day rush, but Sebastian navigated fast.
