Itinerary

Outfitted in a swimsuit, begin the journey from your hotel to where the Hana Highway begins. You’ll be driven to the entrance of the hiking area, which was selected for its heavy concentration of waterfalls. Your guide will lead you along streams to three or more of these breathtaking cascades, some more than 40-feet (12-meters) high. While many tourists flock to Hana Highway area for its scenic beauty, your local guide knows the best vantage points for appreciating the falls on your 2.5-mile (4-kilometer) hike. The waterfalls are breathtaking from land, but they’re even better up close. Wade into any of the pools under the falls—depending on the season, some are calm enough to pass beneath. With advice from the guide, adventurous types can climb up to the nearby columnar basalt ledges and jump 10- to 15- feet (3- to 4.5-meters) into the water below. After exploring the waterfalls enjoy a healthy lunch. A van will transport you back along the Hana Highway to your hotel.

Best excursion with the best guide Allie

We had Allie, she was absolutely amazing. This was by far the best excursion we did while on Maui. We did a different tour each day with different tours and she really impressed us the most. They provided everything, backpacks, food, water, ponchos, bug spray and even bug bite stuff just in case someone got bit. She was super knowledgeable and very much a people person. She really made our hike amazing. We got to see several waterfalls and got to swim.

Amazing experience from beginning to end! Our guide, Enrique, was fantastic, from an on-time pick-up at our hotel, to taking us on a beautiful hike, learning about native flora, and experiencing incredible waterfalls & pools. I highly recommend the experience!

Majestic excursion

Our hike was just the perfect balance of a leisurely walk through the forest and challenging but manageable climbing up or down rocks, crossing water beds and walking along aqueducts built many years ago. Our guide was more than knowledgable of the land, vegetation and necessary preservation of the majestic landscape. I highly recommend this excursion.

Great day - beautiful waterfalls

Easy pick up and drop off. Hike was easy (for most people - some moderately challenging parts, depending on your fitness) — beautiful waterfalls!! Water was cold (husband says it was “refreshing”- hah!). But you gotta jump in anyway. Exceptional guide, Felipe, shared his deep knowledge of the area and vegetation. Was a better experience because of Felipe’s input - thank you!! Glad we booked this adventure- definitely recommend it to others.

Thank you to Mike, our tour guide. He made the hike very enjoyable and informative. He talked about Hawaiian culture, myths and legends the whole ride. He points out places and tells us stories about them along the way. We stopped and learned about the hala plant, tasted a starfruit, cliff jumped and just have an awesome wonderful day! You can feel his love for the land. Best tour guide ever!
