Overview

Capital of Puglia, Bari boasts the presence of the Basilica of San Nicola, an important example of Apulian Romanesque architecture. This church is included amongst the most important places of worship in the world, where Catholic and Orthodox worship blend together. You will visit the old town (including the fish market, both Ferrarese and Mercantile squares, the Ancient wall "la Muraglia", the Basilica of Saint Nicholaus, the Cathedral, the Norman-Swabian Castle and walk down the alleys up to the "pasta" street"). Great walking tour in Bari

Great tour of the city! We enjoyed the visit to the San Nicolau church and the walking the historic center. We learned a lot about Puglia food. Michaela was a great!

The tour was amazing. Our guide Michella was informative, patient, willing to answer questions and so accommodating. It was an extremely hot day but she paced our tour. We learned so much. It was a great way to start our tour in Puglia

The tour was great and really informative, Bari is a stunning walled city and old port. The tour takes in the local market as well as the stunning old town and is quite condensed so not a massive hike around town a simple stroll.
