While there wasnāt as much eating as we assumed, there was lots of presentation of history and local tradition, a surprise because of the way the company rearranged some tours to accommodate bikersā wishes. We had an energetic and fun/funny tour guide named Alessia who spoke to our French and English group with ease and grace. There were a few scary moments on the bikes, more so riding down narrow streets between pedestrians and motorcycles than on the busy city streets, but Alessia kept us safe and on track. Overall, I would say this is a fabulous way to get an introduction to both the old and parts of the new city. We even rode down to the southern part of town, and I stuck my feet in the Adriatic.
