    Alberobello is located about an hour away from Bari, the bus will leave at 09:00am, once you arrive the tour guide will welcome you and show you the city.

    The trulli of Alberobello in Puglia are famous all over the world, a UNESCO heritage site since 1996. Their charm is linked to a mysterious origin, an esoteric symbolism and an incredibly current eco-sustainable architecture. After the hour and a half guided tour, you will have an hour and a half to have lunch before leaving for Matera.

    Matera is located in the Basilicata region, an hour away from Alberobello. There will be a guided tour of Matera, city of the Sassi, eternal city, the Jerusalem of the West, European Capital of Culture 2019.

    The site is located in the southern region of Basilicata, and is made up of the ancient agglomeration of the city of Matera and the Park of the Rock Churches that arise in the natural cavities of the Murge. With an extension of 1,016 hectares, this extraordinary troglodyte settlement, still intact today, includes more than a thousand homes and a notable number of commercial activities and shops. After the guided tour you will have some free time for shopping before leaving.

Amazing tour, knowledgeable guide. I would definitely recommend this tour. Both towns are worth a visit since they are so unique and historic.

Excellent tour to Matera and Alberobello

This is an excellent way to explore Matera and Alberobello from Bari, without having to drive on your own. The coach was comfortable, the driver was very good, and Daniella our guide was excellent. The tours given by Daniella in both places were very informative, interesting and informative. As well, there was adequate time on our own for personal explorations and to have a bite to eat. We would highly recommend this tour.
