Overview

In this Walking Tour you will discover the Historic Center of Mexico City . Our tour will begin in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral in the Zócalo Square, core of politics, social movements, religion, traditions and festivities. We will go through the beautiful buildings of the main square until we find ourselves in front of the Templo Mayor, where we will learn about the Aztec heritage of the Mexican people. We will continue to the National Office of Public Education known for its beautiful colonial architecture and Murals from Diego Rivera. Among busy streets and comercial areas, we will find the National Museum of Art, a symbol of the development and modernity of the 20th century. Finally we will arrive at the beautiful Palace of Fine Arts, icon of the City due to its impressive design and Art Deco influence. Learn about the history, recommendations and curious facts that will give you a general overview of this wonderful city!

Amazing Zocalo tour with Eduardo!

Amazing my experience. Eduardo was a great guide. Learnt so much about Mexican history and culture that informed all our experiences in the country thereafter. We also later went to the Secretary of Public Education building that Eduardo recommended to us which was so stunning! Beautiful city and Estacion Tours does a wonderful job of introducing people to it!

We took a tour in English with Diana in Centro Historico. Diana is the best tour guide ever (and we took 3 tours with Estacion MEX), her English is infallible and she has prepared so much material and the best of all - great sense of humor. Even that on the day of the tour the main places were boarded up because of afternoon protests, Diana did great going around and getting us to the quiet shady places where she would share another bit of history and facts about Mexico City. So impressed with her, and so glad we ended up in her group.
