Was our last night in Bali and was an amazing way to spend it. We were picked up on time by our tour guide and due to the traffc being not to busy we went to the coffee plantation, where our guide told us all about the different coffees and teas, we had a tasting of them all and was the best tea and coffee I've ever had- ended up buying 4 packets to take home! After that we were driven to the temple.
During the drive our guide told us all there is to know about Balinese culture, ceremonies and food. Was so knowledgable. Once at the temple the guide insisted on taking photos of my partner and I which was a very thoughtful gesture.
As for the temple, it has AMAZING views, breath-taking. We were warned in advance about the monkeys stealing things but we didn't see that many but be cautious as have heard they do steal phones and bags. The keyak show was very entertaining, did not expect it to be so funny- was very humorous. Be warned, it is very hot and you sit on hot cement cramped next to people. If you do not arrive on time you will have to sit on the floor so something to be aware of.
After the show we were driven to Jimbaran Bay for dinner on the beach, was a beautiful set up with candles and the seafood dinner was so tasty and VERY generous servings! Some of the best seafood Ive eaten, and for the price you pay its very good value for money.
The highlight of the whole tour would be our tour guide- his name was Made Oka Darpa, so if you're fortunate to have him then you're in for an amazing night. He was accommodating, friendly, knowledge and professional. Will be sure to use the tour group again when we return to Bali. Was the best way to end our trip, so thank you for the fond memories Tour East Bali.
