Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu Temple is one of Balinese Hindu Temples located right on the petrifying hill with the crevasse exist in the right and left side. Uluwatu Temple sits on a 70-meter-high cliff protruding above Indonesian Ocean. We will stop to visit this temple during Uluwatu Tour. Uluwatu Temple is one of Sad Khayangan (6 biggest temple in Bali) owns magnificent view of the Indian Ocean and sunset as a backdrop. Uluwatu temple is very amazing and there area also the group of monkeys dwelling the small forest around the temple. They are believed to guard the temple from bad influences.

Kecak and Fire Dance

Kecak Dance is a spectacular traditional dance with the group of people playing this dance with fire game. Is a dance performance we will visit on Uluwatu Tour. It is very exciting and unique dance due to the sound of gamelan is not using the normal gamelan but use their mouth. The dancers make the compact choir with the exquisite dance movement that is one of this dance features. Kecak dance performance presents the dance as an introduction to the story a fragment from the Ramayana, the Hindu epic which finds its expression in many forms

Our driver and guide, Febri was really punctual, friendly and easygoing! He even managed to find an obscure address we wanted to visit on one of our tours. I highly recommend taking him as your tour guide!

Driver Pak wayan drove us around for the third day in Bali. A very helpful guide, informative as he answers our curious questions of local cultures and taken us around skillfully on the road.

It was amazing! Our driver Sulandra was excellent! He told us a lot of information at the Uluwatu Temple and warned us about the cheeky monkey’s there. We had a wonderfull tour. Terima kasih banyak Sulandra!

5-star view, experience, food, and guide!!

We were really pleased with this unique cultural and dining experience, which really speaks for itself in all the other photos and reviews! This review goes out to our driver and guide, Arsa, who really went above and beyond our expectations. From the get-go, we could tell he was very experienced and was able to optimally time our trip/route to minimize traffic for a more enjoyable experience. After gaining entry to Uluwatu temple, he stood in line for at least an hour to get tickets to the Kecak sunset dance, while letting us explore the temple grounds at our own leisure. Unfortunately, they had run out of the 6:00 PM slot and we were left with the 7:00 PM slot. When he learned that our group preferred the earlier slot due to an early flight out the following day, he spent a lot of time and effort running around asking for people to switch their slot with us. We were so touched when he eventually returned sweating and panting with the 6:00 PM tickets in hand! To top that off, he even agreed to drop us off at our destination hotel which was about 2 hours away from the initially agreed upon center of Ubud drop-off point. Even though it meant that he had to drop us off at 11 pm and then drive another 2 hours back to his original destination, Arsa did it all with such a positive attitude and a giant smile! Really wish we would be so lucky to work with this group and Arsa again when we return to Bali. :)
