Overview

It will be an opportunity to get to know the National Park with a native, we can enjoy the region in a unique way aboard a comfortable 4x4 Jeep with a capacity of 6 passengers and by paths that you will hardly find alone and with a normal vehicle. We are known for our excellent customer service and concern for guest satisfaction, ensuring a positive and memorable experience in every way.

What To Expect

1. Canicada the Caniçada dam is a popular spot for water activities. We will make our first stop with the possibility of taking excellent photos and resting with a coffee on the terrace of the marina. We can optionally take a Stand up Paddle / or Kaiak tour for about 2 hours on the secret beaches of Albufeira (optional cost of €25 per person). In this case, the trip to the Arado and Fafião waterfalls is canceled, keeping the total travel time the same. 15 minutes

2. Cascata do Arado After our stop, we will make a short journey across terrain around the Caniçada dam to the magnificent Arado waterfalls. 40 minutes

3. Miradouro da Pedra Bela Miradouro da Pedra Bela is a tourist spot located in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, in Portugal. With a breathtaking view of the Serra do Gerês and the Caniçada dam, the viewpoint is accessible by a hiking trail. It is an ideal place for contemplating the natural landscape, taking panoramic photos and relaxing in contact with nature. The viewpoint is one of the most visited spots in the region and an unmissable attraction for anyone exploring the National Park. It will be here that we will have our Picnic with typical products from Portugal 1 hour 30 minutes

4. Fafiao Fafião is a village located in the heart of the Peneda-Gerês National Park, in the north of Portugal. Known for its natural beauty and unspoiled landscapes, it is a popular destination for outdoor activities such as hiking, horse riding and bird watching. The village is small and quiet, with stone houses and narrow streets, and offers incredible panoramic views of the mountains and valleys of the region. Known for its natural landscapes and also for being a spot for the sighting of the Iberian wolf, a protected species in the country. Several tourism programs offer the opportunity to observe wolves in their natural habitat, contributing to the preservation of the species and promoting environmental awareness. In addition, Fafião is a popular destination for nature tourism, with hiking trails, waterfalls and stunning panoramic views. 1 hour

Gorgeous trip and wonderful guide

Highly recommend Rui as a tour guide! This trip to Geres (the waterfalls in particular) was the highlight of our visit to Porto for our 18 year olds and a wonderful day for everyone. Rui personalized the trip based on our interests and was able to accommodate us on very short notice after our original tour cancelled. He also took some great candid photos. Geres is absolutely stunning and well worth a trip out of the city.
