Overview

Enjoy a visit to the magical city of Toledo, world heritage site where famous for narrow medieval streets, beautiful architecture and rich history. Embarking in comfort from central Madrid, you will be able to discover every essential monument, building and district in Toledo, with guided visits to emblematic sites such as the church of Santo Tomé, the Jewish District and the Synagogue of Santa María La Blanca (if the option selected). The tour will also include a wine and tapas tasting where you can learn about the history and tradition of wine in Castilla La Mancha. There you will discover that the wine is much more than wine: the wine is art, passion and feeling. The tour will also include free time for you to explore the rest of the city on your own with the possibility to return to places already visited. At the end of your Toledo Tour, you will return to central Madrid on a comfortable bus.

    Here we will begin our guided tour of the city.

    We will take a guided tour through the historic center of Toledo and learn about its history from our guide.

  • Synagogue of Saint Mary the White (Pass By)

    We will contemplate the exterior of some monuments such as this Synagogue, a temple built in the Jewish quarter of Toledo in 1180.

  • Catedral Primada (Pass By)

    It is the most emblematic and visited monument of the city, of Gothic style with a clear French influence.

  • Monasterio de San Juan de los Reyes (Pass By)

    Many consider it one of the most beautiful Gothic temples in Spain. The cloister of the monastery of San Juan de los Reyes is unique in the city.

  • Iglesia de Santo Tome (Pass By)

    it is located in the historic center of the Spanish city of Toledo, and was founded after the reconquest of this city by King Alfonso VI de León.

  • Enodifusion, catas de vino en Toledo

    Here we will have a tasting of the best wines of Castilla la Mancha and some tapas.

Toledo tour with Wine Tasting & Tapas

The 1 stop of the tour was at an overlook of Toledo. It was beautiful. Great choice. Then we went to the bus drop area and toured the city. The tour leader was very good about explaining the history of Toledo. A very memorable moment was the wine tasting and tapas. We learned about wine from the store leader and it was excellent. I would definitely recommend this.

We really enjoyed our day. Toledo is a beautiful city that shouldn’t be missed. Our tour guide Benito was outstanding. He was interesting, informative and very patient. We had a mix of English speaking and Spanish speaking guests. He explained everything clearly in both languages. He gave us so much information. That’s a lot of talking throughout the day! Thanks for a memorable day.

The guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant and spoke English well. The bus was comfortable and had good A/C. Toledo is beautiful and has good shops and restaurants. The wine tour is a must make sure to book it.

This was probably our favorite tour of our trip! Toledo was gorgeous and the cathedral was the most beautiful we have ever seen. The wine tasting was really fun too! Started out a little late because of the amount of people who booked and the available seats on the bus, but they sorted it all out.
