You will experience the “waterfall training” aka “waterfall meditation” here to start off your fresh day!

After the waterfall training/meditation, we will soak with onsen, the hot spring and chill out!

We will have lunch at traditional old house cafe, Harenoya. They serve flavors of each season every month with local vegetables and fruits.
Harenoya also sells some local handmade products, including miso, jams, and so.
We will stop by local souvenir store on the way to Hossawa falls.

5. Hossawa Falls
We will go to see “Hossawa falls” one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Hinohara. Hossawa falls show its variety of face each season. You can enjoy smooth water with fresh greens in spring and autumn foliage. Hossawa falls in Increased water level creates massive drops in summer and it even gets frozen in winter.
On the to the waterfall, there is a gift shop that sells handmade wood crafts. In the meantime, you might be able to get in touch with wild birds at the shop by chance.

【Alternative1】This itinerary is alternative to the original plan. The temple cafe “Shu’un” is only available for certain days every month, and thus we will only get there when they are available and the customers still want to go. Otherwise, we will stick with the original plan that we go to Hossawa falls after lunch instead.
You will enjoy mocha with a Japanese sweets at “Shu’un”.
The priest will talk about the historical background of temples and how people live with its beliefs and rituals at that time of period.
