Venice Tours is in Campo San Gallo, beside San Marco Square. Having the Basilica of San Marco behind you, stay on the right side of the square and go under the arches. Find Olivetti Museum, turn right, pass under the archways, cross the little bridge and go straight to “Campo San Gallo”.

Interesting tour of Venice

Our tour guide, Gloria, was informative, entertaining and enthusiastic about her home town of Venice. We had a wonderful two hours learning about both the historical and present day Venice, with Gloria providing personal touches from her childhood. Even the teenagers enjoyed the tour!

Valentina was so full of interesting information from the cement humps in the corners to prevent urinating in those corners to pointing out the metal struts in the buildings to keep them from falling apart.

Guide was very informative and welcoming. Taking pictures for us. Loved visiting the bookshop. She pointed out authentic Italian restaurants for lunch. We ate at one food was great and very reasonably priced. She even took us to sight which we wanted to see that wasn’t included in the tour.
