Delicious introduction to Cape Town!

We couldn't take this food tour until day 3 in Cape Town but it was still an amazing time and great way to learn our way around town through delicious food! Because there were 9 people total in our tour we had 2 tour guides - Zee and Keagan, they were both fun, friendly, and full of information about the foods, history, and locations we were eating in. I appreciated the attention to local businesses that prioritize sustainability and the Cape Town community. Zee did a great job in herding everyone safely through the neighborhoods and reminding us that traffic was coming from the 'other side' for many people. Come with an empty belly, you will leave stuffed and happy!

Best tour to learn & experience food in the City

What an absolutely wonderful & unique culinary experience! I was blown away & totally transported into epicurean heaven filled with a gastronomy of treats & delights! Zee was too divine & it’s not often that you learn things you didn’t know while having fun at the same time. I didn’t have a minute to think about anything else, except just be present in each moment. One forgets how food is so part of who we are, our memories, places travelled, special people & times we’ve shared, Thank you Zee for sharing those memories with me. Your insight, enthusiasm & passion is truly incredible. This tour is not just for visitors - I guarantee you will experience & learn something new even as a local!

Food and Fun with Rupesh!

As a solo traveler, this experience was truly invaluable. Rupesh is such a charismatic and knowledgeable guide. I loved how he blended history and food to create a rich cultural experience. The company was great, the food amazing, and the stories gave me a deeper understanding of Cape Town's history. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves culture and delicious food. Thanks to Rupesh and everyone else who was on my tour. Time well spent!

The best way to to Eat Like A Local in Cape Town

We had a fantastic half day (actually, nearly 6 hours in the end) in the company of Zee - who showed us around central Cape Town, starting with Bo-Kaap and taking in lots of amazing culinary delights of all types and flavours - including a coffee shop, a spice store, a cafe highlighting Cape Malay specialities, a natural chocolate shop, tea rooms, a wine tasting and (as if we were not full already) a great lunch. Zee was an excellent guide, both to the city and the local food and drink. We learnt so much more through her that we would have done walking the streets by ourselves, even with a guide book. We enjoyed it so much, we went back to some of the places ourselves later. ‘Come hungry’ is correct - as per other reviews, we did not need dinner afterwards. Instead, at Zee’s suggestion, we had a long evening walk back along the coast from Sea Point - which helped to walk it all off. Highly recommended!

A must whilst in Cape Town

What a fabulous insight into the food and history of Cape Town. Our guide Zi couldn't have been more engaging and enthusiastic. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cape Town, it doesn't matter how many days you may or may not have, definitely make time for this tour.
