Overview

Avoid cycle tours with big groups! Choose our private and pampered experiences. Commence with a relaxed cycle along the Sea Point promenade. We then make our way through the picturesque Green Point Urban Park with the state of the art Green Point Stadium close by. After exiting the park, we enter vibrant downtown. Here we educate guests about Cape Town’s rich heritage, also allowing clients to get in amongst the bustling city life. From the historic city centre, we cycle into Company Gardens for some relaxation & refreshments. We then tackle the sights & sounds of the Bo-Kaap ending at V&A Waterfront. The most important aspect of your tour are the fabulous qualified guides that take you on more than a bike ride. They are knowledgeable, attentive & fun professional guides who take you on a journey you will never forget. Our guests are you see so much more on a bike and experience the city in way that is not the same in a car, bus or on foot. We look forward to hosting you!

  • Mouille Point Beach

    We start the tour along the flat paved promenade with sparkling ocean views on your right and Table Mountain on your right.

  • DHL Stadium

    We cycle through the award winning Greenpoint Urban Park designed at the same time as the Soccer World Cup stadium next door.

    10 minutes

  • Greenmarket Square

    We cycle into downtown Cape Town and enjoy the sight and sounds of everyday life. We have a break at the historical Greenmarket square where many souvenirs and artistic work are for sale.

    15 minutes

  • Company's Gardens

    The cycle continues through European like cafe culture and historical sites of interest. We rest at the Company Gardens for tea and cake in the tranquil surroundings.

    30 minutes

  • Bo-kaap

    Following our break, we head into the Cape Malay area called the Bo-Kaap. This must do area is steeped in the history of Cape Malay peope. Filled with colorful homes, friendly citizens and the smell of traditional curries.

    15 minutes

  • V&a Waterfront

    We end off with an easy decent into the V&A Waterfront where we meander through the many attractions on offer in this world class prescient.

Heart of Cape Town

Great way to see the main sights around Cape Town. Easy cycling at a relaxed pace with stops as required for photo opportunities. Excellent guide in Skeezo who has lived through the on-going transformation from apartheid to present day and shared his personal experiences.

Great family activity in Cape Town

We loved our Hike and Bike experience—it was a great family activity and an unexpected way to see Cape Town. Riding through the city’s busy streets gave us a glimpse beyond the typical scenic spots. The guide shared unique insights and stories that brought the city’s history to life. The mix of urban paths and uphill sections was sometimes challenging but manageable with the frequent rest stops. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable part of our trip.

Best thing we’ve done in Cape Town. We had an amazing guide who showed us the most interesting parts of the city that you’d never find on your own. We weren’t rushed and even stopped for the best coffee in town and tried some local delicacies on our way around.

My wife and I did a private bike tour of the city. Absolutely the best way to get to know and see Cape Town. We had a very professional and knowledgeable guide called Abie who was amazing and full of facts about the history, architecture and culture of Cape Town

We started our first full day in Cape Town with the Cape Town City Cycle private tour. As it pertains to getting the lay of the land in Cape Town, the tour exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Skeezo, was incredibly attentive, positive, and knowledgeable; he taught us much about the history of Cape Town and what life is like for many living in South Africa. Perfect weather was a bonus. What a great way to kick off our week-long adventure in Cape Town!
