What a great experience! Ivo picked us (a group of eight) up at the hotel and drove us to the harbour where we left for the Oyster farm on a boat. Dennis explained how they farm the Oysters and Mussels, which was quite interesting but the best part was yet to come. I have never eaten such fresh, meaty and yummy Oysters. While we were busy eating the Oysters Dennis prepared the Mussels with a sauce of white wine, olive oil, onions and garlic. Delicious! You can taste the love and the passion they put into their work.
We returned to the mainland and Ivo drove us to the small city of Ston. We had a short walk through the village. Ivo informed us about the history of Ston, the wall and the salt production.
Then we left for a winery run by a family that are just as well very proud of their products. And you can taste the quality.
We returned to the hotel filled with great memories of a lovely day! Thank you Ivo. Hvala puno.
