Met for this tour not knowing what to expect but our guide Josep was entertaining from the first minute to the end. He took the s to several filming locations in the city including the Red Keep and the walk of shame stairs. Good anecdotes and also a little mix of Dubrovnik history made it even better! Highly recommend!

A very well organised walking tour with earpieces so you could clearly hear the guide who spoke English. Duration was 2 hours as stated, entrance to the fort was not included also as stated and if you keep the ticket you get discount on entry to the walls. The terrain had a lot of steps as you would expect and at times was quite exposed to the sun but our guide (Nino) always tried to stop in places where there was some shade, he also pointed out places to top up water bottles which are essential. Nino was very informative, knowledgeable and entertaining. Had had a book of photographs depicting the locations we visited as they appeared in the series (with CGI enhancement). There were also photos of him as an extra in the series, he went on to work on the locations team so his knowledge was comprehensive and he had some anecdotes about some of the stars. A really great experience and well worth the money.

The guide Joe was super friendly and pretty funny too. He was also very knowledgeable about the show which might have been because he watched it several times through as well as even having some extra insights from working as an extra on the show before. He was able to answer any questions about which scenes you might have thought were shot in Dubrovnik but where actually just sets in the studio inspired by the city. I wasn’t expecting to be able to compare the shots in the show to the actual locations I was seeing but I was pleasantly surprised when he had a huge binder filled with pictures of scenes. The stairs for the walk of shame was the big finale which we had already seen the previous day but was definitely worth revisiting with all of the additional information Joe shared with us as well as getting to see pictures of the scenes right there as well. There was an incredible view from the fort that would be worth it even without the tour but the guide was still super helpful taking everyone’s pictures for them. The stairs to the fort were not as bad as you think looking at it from the ground and the guide purposely walked slowly and stopped to talk about scenes half way up so you could definitely catch your breath. At the end we got to take pictures in the throne as well so make sure you don’t pay for that before getting it for free on the tour. As well you have to pay for your ticket to the fort separately but it’s not expensive and if you already paid for a ticket to the wall then it’s included in that. If you buy the ticket to the fort first and want to do the wall after you save that amount of money on the wall ticket. Overall: Tour was 100% worth it even for new watchers of the show you get some spoilers but it’s just so cool to see something you recognize from a show in real life around you. The tour guide Joe was awesome and we had looked at reviews beforehand so we were hoping to get him and we were not disappointed! I recommend this highly and I don’t normally rate things that’s how much I loved this!
