While visiting the Phoenix area, what’s better than driving a 2-seated 800cc UTV Sand Buggy over cool terrain with your best bud by your side? How about having a guide to lead the way so you don’t get lost! Our customer reviews on this desert adventure tour are through the roof! This isn’t some slow-speed, single file UTV tour. This is a smile-a-second adventure tour through super-cool desert track; rock gardens, sandy washes, twisty canyons, and technical two track. Bottled water and snacks will be provided at the mid way stop and drivers and passengers can swap at this point. On this adventure tour will also learn about the Flora and Fauna in Sonoran Desert and that the only place you can find the Saguaro Cactus is in The Sonoran Desert. We bring the buggies, the helmets, gators, water and snacks. You bring you and see why Desert Dog Offroad Adventures is the funnest desert tour operator in the Phoenix and surrounding area!

Meeting points

Refer to Maps and Directions page on outfitters website. You will receive a text with directions. Arrive 15 minutes before the tour begins. Guides can not wait if you are late. No refunds for no shows! Uber and Lyft are not recommended to the trailhead. Call the office for transportation.

Side by Side through Desert Fun.

This side by side tour through the Sonoran Desert was so much fun! It’s a great way to experience the desert and all the saguaros, roadrunners and whatever else you might run across! Guides were very informative, friendly and knowledgeable. We would do it again. The only thing that was a ridiculous cost was getting a driver from our hotel in Phoenix. It was highly recommended not to use UBER or LYFT because the location was coordinates on a map and so it’s hard for the driving companies to find it to get you there. We ended up using a person they recommended and it cost $175 PLUS tip. We were picked up in a LYFT car. The driver was a super nice guy, nothing against him but save yourself some moolah and use a regular LYFT or UBER driver.

The guides were great. Very informative and stressed safety. If I visit Arizona again, this will be #1 on my to do list again. Had a blast.

Enjoyed this experience with my daughter and granddaughters as part of my birthday celebration trip. Our guide was great - friendly, patient, helpful, informative and so knowledgeable. Desert Dog so accommodating to schedule us around the inclement weather. Sunset pictures to remember for a lifetime.
