Summit the world-famous Camelback Mountain, at 2,707 feet, the highest and most popular peak in Phoenix, Arizona. With 1,300 feet in elevation gain, you’ll get your vert on for sure. Your guide will meet you in the hiking area at the trailhead. Experience the incredible mountain up close and personal. Ascend the peak to the top for a 360-degree view of the Phoenix Metro Area and see the Sonoran Desert for more than 50 miles in every direction. - 3-4 hours - Meet your guide at the trailhead - Difficulty scale: Strenuous, including sections of hands-on rock scrambling

What an awesome adventure! Mike was great as a guide and coach and historian of the area. I appreciated the hike and the climb and the views, and I really enjoyed the background Mike provided regarding the natural history of the place and the long human history.

A fantastic morning hike! John was an amazing guide! He knows the mountain and made the hike an amazing experience. He knows a lot of the regular hikers and introduced me to them, really enhancing my experience.

We had an incredible time with our tour guide Mike. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the plants and animals and even explained to us about the history of Phoenix while we were on the summit looking over it. He also took the most incredible pictures of us during the trip. Amazing experience!

This was an absolutely amazing experience! I'm SO glad I did it. I am far from an experienced hiker, and I was very concerned about whether or not I could do this hike. Physically, if you're in good shape, this is definitely something you're capable of. But if you're not an experienced hiker, and if you're not familiar with this type of hiking, I recommend getting a guide. My guide was Kyndle, and I absolutely love her. She was super encouraging and reassuring. She even advised other inexperienced hikers who were on their own. You can tell she does this because she enjoys it and wants people to be safe. Do this. You will be so proud of yourself!
