Overview

Unearth the beautiful island of Santorini and see the sights with a local driver/guide in a 5-hours private tour. Cycladic architecture, picturesque villages, and extraordinary views of the Caldera. Itinerary

Oia

The tour begins by visiting the north of the island first where the famous village of Oia is located. Oia is known for its historic houses, blue-domed churches, and amazing views which take your breath away.

Continuing on to Firostefani where the famous Blue Dome Church is located (a great photo opportunity), which is a true representation of the island.

Pyrgos

The village of Pyrgos is located at the foot of Mountain Prophet Ilias. Characterised by its panoramic views of both sides of Santorini, and has remaining features from the famous Venetian rule.

Megalochori - Traditional Village

The village of Megalochori has been characterised as one of the most picturesque and traditional villages of Santorini. The mansions and restored houses of vernacular architecture, the high walls and the pirate hideaways are the highlights of this preserved old settlement.

We reached out to Babis as a referral from a referral. This is what I love most about Greece. Everyone works together and they keep their promises!!! Babis sent a wonderful driver, he was prompt, knowledgeable, and his English was great!!! We had a five hour tour of Santorini, we saw so many things!!! This is such a great way to see the island. If you are in a cruise, this is so much more economical. The experience was top notch. Of all the tours I have done, this one was the best. (And I have been many places). Thank you Mr Babis!!! Excellent local tour with many insights to the history and local culture. Artemis, a local to the island, gave us an incredible tour. Starting with a number of popular options, he also asked for our preferences and created a custom tour. A winery was one of our interests and he made arrangements with a local winery and host for a tasting. Artemis was also mindful of the time and adjusted routes and expectations throughout. He was very personable. In the end we feel we got the best tour possible to experience the best parts of Santorini. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a high quality custom tour experience.

10/10 experience and worth every penny! Babis was our guide for the day AND he’s a local! He has so much knowledge of the island and the history. He took us to a few spots that were outside of our initial itinerary and that made it feel even more special. He took us to a perfect spot in Oia for the sunset and was kind enough to take beautiful photos for us at every stop. I would recommend any and everyone to take a private tour of Santorini with Simple Santorini Tours.
