Oia
Our usual first stop is the picturesque village of Oia, a place of unmatched beauty and tranquility. Built on the slope of the Caldera, it is truly the quintessence of what Santorini has to offer: glorious skies meeting endless blue seas, traditional Cycladic houses along idyllic footpaths and an entirely immersive atmosphere – a generously rewarding experience for the visitor.

Another stop on this tour is Firostefani, the ‘crown of Fira’. Taking its name from its elevated position, this settlement is blessed with truly breathtaking views of the island. This location is also home to the Blue Domed Church, a prominent icon of the island of Santorini.

The authentic old settlement of Megalochori, the ‘big village’, awaits visitors with its warm and inviting atmosphere. Dating back to the 17th century, it is one of the most picturesque villages of the island featuring historical mansions with inner courtyards, traditional architecture and pirate hideaways.

And how can someone not visit Emporio. Once the center of commercial activity, it is the largest settlement of Santorini with a definite medieval flavor and well-preserved traditional houses. The heart of the village boasts Emporio Kastelli, the best-preserved castle on the island. Enjoy a walk through the charming narrow streets and don’t forget to visit the churches.

Black Beach, or Perissa, is actually the end of the long black sand beach of Perivolos and, it is the busiest and most famous beach in Santorini. After enjoying the clear waters and impressive black sand, we shall try the local specialties available at the many seaside restaurants.

Standing true to its name, the distinctive Red Beach features a remarkably imposing odd formation of red volcanic rock dramatically contrasting the magnificent blue of the sea – a truly unique sight to behold.

We visit Santorini first time and we took a private tour.
Our guide Nikki was very funny and very knowledgeable.
We visit Oia the famous blue domes and the cave houses.
We had also a wine tasting in Santo wine winery and we enjoyed a lot.
For the end we visit the black beach of Perivolos and we when in a nice traditional taverna and we eat like a local plenty of fresh seafood.
We definitely come back and we recommend it to all of you.
The van was a Mercedes with very good Air-condition and very comfortable.

I did a lot of research prior to our cruise stop in Santorini and believe we came up with the best option for our day. Jenny and our driver took us to so many beautiful places around the island that we never would have found on our own. We visited Oia before it got crowded and had already been to all the great viewpoints when we saw the cruise ship excursion buses rolling in.
Our guide, Jenny, also recommended a wonderful restaurant on the beach. The setting was beautiful and the food was delicious.
In addition to the beautiful sites, Jenny was a delight! She was so kind and informative, but the best part was the amazing pictures she took of our group throughout Santorini. I requested her based on reviews that I read about her picture-taking skills, but I had no idea how good she is!
