  • Sphere within a Sphere

Before heading into the museums, join our guide on a walk through the Pinecone Courtyard and marvel at the famous ''Sphere within a Sphere'' by Arnaldo Pomodoro.

    5 minutes

  • Sistine Chapel

Sistine Chapel with Michelangelo's Last Judgement Prepare to be wowed as you visit the Sistine Chapel - a top attraction in Vatican City. Arriving early gives you the chance to admire Michelangelo's incredible artwork without the crowds. As a sacred space, silence is required, but your guide will provide you with a guide and a pre-visit explanation of what you're about to see. Inside, you'll be mesmerized by the sheer number of figures painted by Michelangelo - over 600! This masterpiece is not only a testament to his talent but also serves as a gathering place for cardinals of the Catholic Church. Please note: The Sistine Chapel is a sacred place, so visitors are required to have their knees and shoulders covered when inside. Failure to do so will result in refused entry to a portion of the Vatican tour. During Rome’s hot summer months, consider bringing a shawl or sweater for covering yourself when necessary.

    15 minutes

  • St. Peter's Basilica

St. Peter's Basilica - (Except on Wednesdays!) Following the Sistine Chapel our next stop is the breath-taking St. Peter's Basilica. Accompanied by your guide, you'll enter through a dedicated corridor for groups, granting swift access to the basilica avoiding the long queues that often appear on the square. Inside, you'll have the opportunity to witness the Vatican's most esteemed church, believed to house the remains of St. Peter himself. Your guide will introduce you to the cathedral before you enter to explore on your own, allowing you some time to take in the beauty of this religious site. Admire the architecture and art, including Michelangelo's La Pietà and Bernini's Baldacchino, and bask in the peaceful atmosphere of this spiritual sanctuary. Please note that St. Peter's Basilica is closed on Wednesdays for the Papal Audience and can occasionally experience other unexpected closures. If this happens, your guide will make up the time at other areas within the Vatican.

    20 minutes

Paula Pagano is Fabulous!

Published on Jan, 2025

Fantastic guide! Paula Pagano was amazing. Lots of history, great energy. She did a good job keeping up with us too lol. Lots of walking but it was tolerable. Would highly recommend!

Urturk did a great job

Published on Jan, 2025

URTURK was an amazing guide, thank you Urturk. He had an orange flipbook that he obviously spent a lot of time on, which he used throughout the tour to go above and beyond telling us interesting historical facts. You get to see the inside of the Sistine Chapel and the Coliseum. You do a lot of walking so be prepared and have good shoes. You start at the Vatican and end at the Coliseum. You eat on your own for lunch, and Urturk gave some good recommendations near the Pantheon. All in all, a good experience!

Wonderful Rome in a Day Experience

Published on Jan, 2025

With Fabi as our tour guide for the day, we fee we fully experienced Rome in the day! The tour was well planned and travel from place to place was at a pace that was optimal for us to see and experience everything we did, without feeling rushed. We learned so much along the way. The knowledge and personality of our guide was exceptional. The recommendations Fabi provided when we asked for places to eat lunch were definitely appreciated (and delicious). She even took a picture of my husband and me in the Colosseum which we so appreciated since traveling as a couple and getting pictures of the two of us together was rare. Definitely wear good walking shoes for this tour and get ready for a full and exciting way to tour Rome!

Rome in a Day Tour

A great tour. This must be easiest way to see many key Roman sites due to the sound organisation and knowledge of Maria as guide. Highly recommended as long as you have the ability and stamina to walk for several hours.

Great tour for our large group.
