    Your first stop is Montepulciano, a town renowned for its fine wine and views. The Renaissance hilltown is best-known for its production of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, a full-bodied red wine. Learn about it on a walking tour and discover highlights such as the Florence-style clock tower, the cathedral with its yet-to-be-finished façade, medieval wine cellars and the old town walls.

    Immerse yourself in the architecture of St. Biagio's Church. This temple is the result of an exceptional synthesis between the artistic language of the Renaissance and the beauty of the Tuscan landscape, due to its peculiar location in the midst of a breath-taking landscape overlooking the Tuscan hills. The church, an example of a Renaissance Greek cross central plan, was used for the original design by Bramante and Michelangelo for St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Having worked up an appetite, you'll have lunch with your group surrounded by vineyards. You’ll discover why Tuscany is Italy’s most renowned wine region as you enjoy a traditional 3-course lunch, with a local wine pairing including the world-famous Brunello di Montalcino wines.

    From the farm, travel on to Pienza, one of the region’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Here, enjoy up to 45 minutes of free time to explore. The layout of the town was created by Pope Pius II, who wanted to change the look of his birth town. Admire the historic center, which stays true to the pope’s vision, and gaze at the fine architecture that abounds. If you are a fan of food, check the shops for pecorino cheese, arguably Pienza’s most prized product.

Not what I expected.

Enriqueta, was absolutely amazing and an awesome tour guide. She even went out of her way to buy us diapers for our small child from a pharmacy so we wouldn’t have to miss out on any part of the tour. She went above and beyond in every way and was an awesome tour guide. I am not a wine drinker and there was plenty for me to enjoy and do. I was so impressed with what this tour had to offer and was by far my favorite tour of the 5 we did in Italy. If you book this tour you will not be disappointed.

This tour was amazing. Our tour guide was great. Our wine tasting was very nice. The venue was beautiful and we had beautiful scenery all around us. We also were lucky enough to see a Christmas market and it was so nice. I definitely recommend this tour.

This tour was brilliant. Enrica was a knowledgeable tour guide who clearly loved her job. She added so much to the experience; authenticity and humor on a rainy day. This tour had it all, the food and wine were both fantastic! I strongly recommend the tour and the team of Enrica and Fabio. His excellent driver and navigation allow you to be at ease and enjoy the sights.

The tour guides were knowledgeable, friendly and inviting. Eririca was our main guide - she eas awesome! My whole family enjoyed the trip. My son wanted to go to Florence but I chose this tour and he was very happy with the outcome!
