Fantastic tour guide. His Incredible enthusiasm, knowledge and imagination really brought the ancient sites to life. Golf carts were an excellent way to view.

A must do we learnt so much history. Feddie was an amazing guide. If there is only one guided tour you do in Rome this should be it. We learnt so much on an interesting and accessible tour, something I believe all ages can enjoy. It was truly fantastic and we learnt more about Roman history than all the other tours combined. Do this tour early it will give you a really solid understanding of both ancient and modern Rome and truly enhance your overall visit.

What a blast! We booked this tour for our family of 5 (2 adults, 21, 20, 17 year-old kids) directly through Lion and Lion Srl - Wheel Tours for a December afternoon in Rome. Federico was our driver/guide/comedy show. We were the only ones on the tour so we had Federico all to ourselves. The cart was clean and we were given headsets and waters. We had no idea how much fun we were about to have. We started out in the city driving past some of the classic sites making our way to the Appian Way. He gave us some historical information about the sites but the Appian Way is when the tour really got going. Not only were we given a lesson in Roman history, Federico acted it out. He engaged the family by playing the parts of rulers, popes, Christian legends and got the whole family to participate. We were all laughing because he was so immersed in character and has such a clever sense of humor. Getting 3 teens and twenties to consistently crack up is quite a feat! We stopped a few times along the road - we went into one church and one catacomb (tour), which were both interesting. We also had a coffee/snack stop and bathroom break. Then we headed down the road again. At one stop we saw a cat who decided to jump right into the cart and adopt my son. Apparently this is uncommon behavior by this specific cat so we drove him around with us for a minute and dropped him off a ways down the road. Federico took us through history and pointed out castles, monasteries, tax collection stations, city walls, things we would not have paid much mind to on our own. He took pictures for us and made sure we had enough time to enjoy the scenery. We then worked our way back into the city for more drive-by sites and finished the tour with a drop off at a restaurant where we had reservations, so we didn’t have to walk. 100% recommend this tour with Federico as he keeps it lively and made sure my family had a great time!

We throughly enjoyed the tour, Silvia was an awesome guide who absolutely made the whole trip very interesting and brought the whole package together nicely. The golf carts made it easy on the legs especially for the kids.

This was a shockingly AMAZING experience. I booked a Catacombs Golf Cart Tour for my family because the idea of being on a golf cart felt a bit silly to us - but we had the BEST time and it wasn’t silly at all - it was very enjoyable.
