Overview

Sail aboard catamaran La Bonita to our secret sandbar. After a short sail we reach our destination a shallow sandbar made up of soft sand and in a protected lagoon with crystal clear calm water. At a depth of 3 to 4 feet most of the year this is ideal an ideal spot for kids and non-swimmers. Enjoy a light lunch before leisurely sailing back across the protected waters of the Puerto Morelos lagoon.

Love Puerto Morelos, an absolute hidden gem of a town. Wonderful people, restaraunts, and beaches. Fantastic large well stocked grocery stores, and pharmacies.

Looking back at our photos helps revive our memories laying out on deck under full sail and calming breeze to Bonita’s “secret” sandbar. It’s quite an experience being able to swim around in 3’ to 5’ crystal clear waters while about 1 km from shoreline. During all this Jose and crew were non-stop making sure our (small) group of 9 were looked after whether its a beverage in-hand, laying out deck pillows to add to our comfort, and making sure we didn’t stray far from the sandbar. Lunch was perfect with ham & cheese in a fresh bun, fruits, pico, chips and unlimited beverages with juices, water, spirits and cold cold cervaza! We would do this again!! Well done Jose!

Absolutely gorgeous trip! Staff were attentive and fantastic. Everything was clean and prepared for us, we left ahead of schedule and came back on time. Transport was easy, clean, and on time. Highly recommend this group for your catamaran excursion. Minimal guests on the boat, normally this would cause the trip to be cancelled but they made it happen for us and it was incredible.

We had a great time on the water. The crew was fun, attentive, and professional. We felt very safe - they even put towels down on the benches and floor so we wouldn't slip after swimming. Highly recommend!

Beautiful views from a beautifully maintained catamaran!! The crew was very attentive and made sure every need was met along the way. The small lunch was tasty, you could tell care was given with every detail. The drinks were good and bottomless! Would highly recommend for a relaxing day on the water
