Join us on 3 hours of calm and relaxed visiting of the island, mixing culture and beautiful views, we will make the most of this time together, driving by Monte Brasil, the only peninsula of the island, Goat Islet, an underwater volcano, São Sebastião, the first place we populated upon arriving at the island and Serra do Cume, one of the remaining ridges of the biggest caldeira of Azores! Monte Brasil

We will visit Monte Brasil, passing by the volcano's crater, reaching the viewpoint to Angra Do Heroísmo city, from where we can witness the history flowing through the city!

We will drive by Baía da Salga, where we had a historical fight with the spanish, who built the fortress we have visited in Monte Brasil
Imperio do Espirito Santo de Sao Sebastiao

On this village we will visit one of the oldest churches of the island, as well as an Império, a little chapel dedicated to the Holy Spirit, one of the highlights of our culture

Here we will witness the biggest Caldeira (structure of a collapsed volcano) of the Azores, with only two ridges left, each separated by 7 km!

Algar do Carvao

Optional, depends on the date/time of the tour. Please, see the schedule here (http://www.montanheiros.com/algarcarvao/). It is an empty volcano, of its kind only 3 exist, the visit is acessible, with stairs all the way (no elevator). We will visit the structure, witnessing rare formations such as stalactites formed by silica.

Definitely recommend! Rui (our guide) was great. Knowledgeable about the all the sites we explored and also so interesting to learn about traditions and culture of the island from him. We were only on Terceira for a short time during a layover so this worked well for us to be able to explore as much as we could in a short timespan. We hope to visit again.

We had a great tour. The guide was very friendly and knew a lot about local history and traditions. We visited many great nature spots and even a local wine producer. Amazing experience. Highly recommended.
