Overview

During this private walking tour, we will visit the National Museum of Anthropology, considered one of the most visited museums in the world where you will be able to perceive the history of the Mesoamerican civilizations that flourished in an area whose climate and vegetation gave origin of civilizations. We will visit three of the most important rooms, starting with the Teotihuacan Room, the Mexica Room and the Mayan Room. Let yourself go back in time where great civilizations created great monuments and advances in the field of astronomy and mathematics. After this interesting guided visit, we will walk inside the park getting into de woods and ascend to the ¨Mountain of the Crickets¨ to discover the unique "Royal Castle" of the America. But in between, we will have free time to get any snack and refreshment beverage and relax. Definitely an experience you cannot miss!

    Discover this incredible place accompanied by a certified and knowledgeable guide, where you can find the all history of Mexico in one place. We will visit three of the most important rooms, starting with the Teotihuacan Room, the Mexica Room and the Mayan Room. Wold-Class Tour with Carlos!

My boyfriend and I went with Carlos to tour the Anthropology Museum, and it ended up being one of our favorite parts of our trip to Mexico City. We love and adore Carlos—so much so that after our first tour ended, we ended up booking him for another tour at the National Museum of Art. Carlos is so knowledgeable, so sweet, so fun to talk to, and just one of the best tour guides we've ever had. We definitely plan to come back to Mexico City, and we DEFINITELY plan to book another tour with Carlos (hopefully this time on one of his tours outside the city to an archaeological site). The Anthropology Museum is as amazing as everyone says it is, and learning about it from Carlos makes it even better. I wish I could take a tour with Carlos every week because I know we wouldn't ever get tired of learning from him. We can't recommend this tour enough, and we STRONGLY recommend requesting Carlos!! Thank you Carlos for an amazing time!!

Mexican history from ancient to modern times.

A friend and I toured the Anthropology Museum and Chapultepec Castle on Thursday, October 24. We met our guide, Jose Luis, at the Museum at 10:00 am. Jose Luis was a great guide - able to explain many complex subjects clearly and quickly and answer our many questions -an excellent tour of ancient Mexican history. And what a great museum - beautifully built and constructed. In the afternoon we toured the Castle and had a tour of Mexico's more modern history. We had a great day and walked back to our hotel.
