Emerson was AMAZING! The entire tour was incredibly fun, and he taught us so much about Portuguese history (but not in a boring way — I think non-history lovers would enjoy it). He told us stories of the places we visited and showed us details that I wouldn’t have noticed without him there. He was incredibly personable; I wish he could be my tour guide any place that I visit. Portugal is the 16th country that I have been to, and I have been on various tours, and this was by far the best tour that I’ve been on. I plan on traveling a lot more in my life, and (sadly) I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the best tour I ever go on.

This was the best tour I have ever been on. Emerson (our guide) is a master of weaving together the history with the culture in a way that kept us excited and engaged. I will remember this tour fondly and wish that everyone could have the same experience. It simply could not have been any better.

Caio was a great guide and allowed us to have a sampling of what Sintra has to offer without overcommitting to more than what we were prepared for. He adapted to what we were interested in and we were able to see all of the most interesting sites!

An amazing way to see Sintra

We had one full day in Sintra on our vacation. We woke up to fog and rain. Luckily, we'd planned this Tuk Tuk tour of Sintra. It kept us mostly dry and also allowed us to see highlights of everything in the little town. Best of all, we had an amazing guide who shared the history and facts with us along the way. Because we were in a Tuk Tuk we got to see so many things we would have never been able to if we'd walked or driven. Also, if you're torn between a private tour or a larger group - opt for the private tour. There was plenty of room in the Tuk Tuk for my 6'3" husband and me. We didn't spend any time waiting for others to take their pictures, etc. It was the best of everything! I highly recommend this if you come to Sintra!
