We will be visiting the chapel of San Juan de gaztelugatxe and walking up its 240 steps to ring the chapels bell, as the tradition demands! Interestingly this location was used for filming dragon stone in game of thrones Season 5!!

Incredible, once in a lifetime trip. We only had one day to experience the the Basque area and our guide Martin made the most of it. The scenery, the history, the view points crowned by a visit to Bilbao, old and new, and the visit to the amazing Guggenheim museum was truly wonderful. We traveled at our own pace and it was delightful. We tried to walk to the shrine of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe but were to old and it was too hot and we only made it to the last viewpoint. But it was worth the try.

Jimi was a great tour person very knowledgeable of Bilbao and the surrounding areas and we could tell he loves his job as well as giving us a great itinerary for our next day at San Sebastián especially where to park. Thank you so much Jimi.

Amazing and scenic tour with a wonderful guide

I did a last minute booking and the tour operator was able to accommodate my request. Our tour guide Martin speaks very good English so me and my friend had a lively conversation with him. He showed us hidden gems of Gaztelugatxe, Bermeo and surrounding areas. The drive was so beautiful. Martin also recommended a great restaurant in Bermeo where we ate delicious pintxos for lunch and he also added extra stop for us at an overlook where we enjoyed coffee and dessert. Martin is very proud of the Basque Country and it showed when he told us stories and related historical events. So happy with this tour!!!
