One of the oldest villages, an aspect of view, back to the picturestic traditional villages of the past.The former islands capital with the small and magic paths gives you the opportunity to explore this amazing place until the top of Pyrgos where you can find the church of virgin mary build at 1660 and Kasteli old castle. (opportunity for dining at a greek tavern on the main square of Pyrgos)

Santorini's highest point where one of the most monasteries of the island is located,wich was built by two monks in 1711. There you will have the chance to try the local products of the monks,admire and take pictures of this panoramic view.

Venetsanos Winery

Venetsanos winery is located right above the port of Athinios, overlooking the magnificent caldera of Santorini. The Venetsanos family has a very long tradition of producing wine. Originally was produced for the island and subsequently, it was exported extensively to many countries worldwide. It was built in 1947 by the Venetsanos family and became the first industrial winery on the island. Its most distinguishing feature is the structural design, which essentially used gravity, facilitating energy efficiency, at a time when access to electricity and other energy sources was very limited. The winery was built in an unconventional manner constructed from above and moving downwards

Breath taking views and photo opportunities

Great driver, we had 5 cruise ships in port. He was able to get us to all the attractions and best photo spots without spending lots of time in traffic. Line for the cable car from the old port where the tender boats drop you off were over an hour both going up and down. We elected to take the approximately 20 flights of stairs both ways but I definitely both the trip!

As a solo traveler, I greatly appreciated your company's willingness to provide me with a private guided tour of Santorini during the port day of my cruise without charging an unreasonable cost for a private tour for one person, or the requirement for at least two or more people. I thoroughly enjoyed my tour and felt safe, well cared for, and respected. I came away from this experience seeing more of the island and learning so much more about Santorini and its unique culture, history, and beautiful landscapes and villages. I especially loved visiting the ancient ruins of Akrotiri from 4000 BC and the lovely village of Pyrgos at Santorini's highest point. Literally the best part of our time in Santorini!! We felt like friends immediately! Alex took us to the best wineries, brought us to tucked away places we would never seen on our own, and helped us feel like a local!!! I wish we would’ve done this on our first day!!!
