Overview

Skip the lines at the Colosseum and Roman Forum on this 3.5-hour tour. Explore the largest amphitheater in the world and the ruins of the Roman Forum before visiting the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. The Roman Forum, located in a valley between the Palatine and Capitoline hills, was the political, religious, and commercial center of the ancient city. Leave the ancient world and continue to Piazza Venezia and admire the Altare Della Patria. Walk with your guide along narrow Roman streets and visit the recently restored Trevi Fountain, the largest and most famous fountain in Rome. See the Pantheon and then Piazza Navona, home to 3 stunning fountains by Bernini.

Meeting points

Leaving the metro station Colosseo on the ground floor, cross the road to the Colosseum. Walk around the right side of the monument until you get to the Arch of Costantine. Our representative will be waiting right under the arch on the other side. Please ensure that you arrive 25 minutes before tour departure time.

Surreal and Amazing Tour of Rome

This tour was awesome! We had a private tour where it was just us and our tour guide, Ian. He was SO knowledgeable and gave us so much insight and information about the Colosseum and the Forum and all that we saw. Standing in the Colosseum was surreal and so amazing. We loved everything about this tour and we highly recommend it.

We were tired from the stairs and hills but the guide made each step interesting and allowed for individual needs (oldsters for example). This is not a strenuous tour but it does require some climbing. Well worth the cost overall. Meeting location is a bit hidden what with traffic and construction, but you just head for the back side by the arch.

The start was not very fortunate as there was no rep on time at the meeting point and we all were rather anxious. I even had to call the office. After that everything was fine. Our guide, Barbara, was not only very confident and knowledgeable but a good carer. Good sense of responsibility. We learned a lot. Thank you Barbara.
