Cruise the magnificent limestone karsts of Vietnam's Halong Bay on a full-day adventure from Hanoi with Bravo Indochina Tours. The UNESCO World Heritage site of Halong Bay means ‘dragon descending to the sea,’ named for a family of dragons said to have helped the Vietnamese people fend off invaders. According to legend, the dragons spit out gemstones that turned into the islets dotting the bay.
Board your sailboat upon arrival and begin your cruise around the picturesque waters where the reflections of 3,000 limestone islets are mirrored against the clear and calm emerald sea, many of them containing fascinating grottoes. Visit Thien Cung, also known as Heavenly Cave, which can be reached on the southwest side of the bay through a sailing route shrouded on each side by thick foliage. As you stroll the wooden walkway and marvel at the unique rock formations inside, learn about the legend of the dragon prince from your guide.

Next, disembark at Dau Go grotto, located on Driftwood Island, and climb 90 steps up to the entrance. Inside, numerous stalactites descend from the cave’s ceiling like a frozen waterfall. Enjoy a provided seafood lunch on board as you continue to experience the charm of Halong Bay, sailing around Dinh Huong (Incense Urn), Cho Da (Stone Dog) and Ga Choi (Fighting Roosters) — rocky islets named for their animal shapes.

I wholeheartedly endorse the Halong Bay day trip, including a delightful lunch on the cruise, kayaking, and a cave tour, all accompanied by transportation from Hanoi. The tour guide, Mr. Toan, is exceptionally skilled, knowledgeable, and an entertaining individual. His remarkable speaking abilities greatly enhanced our experience. His dedication to engaging and entertaining the tourists is commendable. Every moment of the tour was enjoyable, thanks to his efforts. The food served was delicious, the transportation timely and comfortable, and the staff, especially Mr. Toan, were highly professional. His fabulous work left a lasting impression on me. This tour will remain a cherished memory, and I cannot forget the wonderful time spent on this fantastic tour.

Bravo for Halong day cruises and our tour guide Nicky and the team. We had such a great time cruising Halong Bay. We were on private car and cruise, food was fantastic, and activities were super awesome..Well worth the money,

Halong is the most memorable part of our trip of Vietnam organize by this company. We really enjoy the beauty of the Vietnam country. The itinerary was well arranged and the mix of travelling and stops was great. The local guide Henry was really friendly and knowledgeable and helpful.
